  1. Image/File to open: Here you can select the disk/CD/DVD image or large file to be edited. Click the folder button at the right to display a file selection dialog where you can choose the file
  2. File size: Here the size of the chosen file is displayed in byte and sector units
  3. Sector size: Select the size of a sector in the disk image. Hard disk and floppy disk images usually have a sector size of 512 Bytes, CD and DVD images have a sector size of 2048 Bytes. Normal files have no specific sector size, so you can select a sector size of you choice, e.g. 4096 Bytes. You may also type a sector size manually.
  4. First sector: Here you can set the index of the first sector to be read into the editor window
  5. Load <value> sectors at a time: This control allows you to display a consecutive sequence of disk image sectors at once in the hex editor window.
  6. Readonly: If this box is checked, disk data is opened in read only mode and cannot be edited
  7. OK: Open the selected disk image or large file in a new editor window
  8. Cancel: Close the dialog without opening a disk image
